Come and explore the art of picassiette with me in a 3 hour workshop. I will guide you through the process of preparing your base and overall design of your project. You will learn how to cut and nip plates to use them for your tesserae. You will leave with a finished mosaic and the knowledge to continue making beautiful mosaic pieces on your own. I will give you a packet of grout with written instructions on how to grout your piece at home. You must wait a minimum of 24 hours to allow for the glue to set. My workshops are ideal for beginners and I provide all the tools you need.

Heart Workshop

 In this workshop we will use a 5" heart as our base. You choose the dishes and colors you want to use for this project.

This workshop is ideal for beginners and I provide all the tools you need. You can choose from a moon, a cloud, a circle or square trivet. They are 8” in size and can also be hung on the wall if you prefer. If you have a teacup, saucer or plate that you would like to bring to incorporate into your design I encourage you to bring it.

Trivet Workshop

In this workshop you can choose from a moon, a cloud, a circle or square trivet. They are 8” in size and can also be hung on the wall if you prefer. You choose your dishes and colors from my collection.

Small Planter

In this workshop we will mosaic a small 3" planter. You choose the dishes and colors from my collection. Although it is small it requires dexterity because you are working on a 3 dimensionl piece. I love to use these for herbs, as gifts and also to put tea light candles in.

Shell Workshop

Come and mosaic a large 5"-6" Lions Paw Shell. You choose the dishes you like from my collection.

Another option I provide is to come and create your own personal and unique mosaic project working at your own pace.You bring your own base such as a table, planter, lamp, picture frame, or whatever strikes your fancy!  I will supply you with the tools, glue and grout you need and you bring your own dishes and any other material you want to incorporate. Contact me if you need information on where to buy ceramic and glass tiles. Yard sales and thrift stores are a good source for dishes.
